Camp Overview:Develop Aerial Robotics (Drones) Skill in youth ages 10 - 16 years via in-person instruction, demonstrations, hands-on activities and exercises. (Continued from WSBJ FSC 2023, 2024, 2025)

 

 

 

General Objectives:

Learners will develop their knowledge and skills in the following areas of work:

  •         Aerial Robot Programming
  •         Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) - Computer Vision, Image Processing, Machine Learning
  •         Swarm Robotics
  •         Drone Swarms

 

 

Learning Outcomes:

Learners who complete this course will be able to:

  •        Define Robotics and Aerial Robotics
  •        Identify Robots and Aerial Robots
  •        Identify Aerial Robot Components
  •        Discover Aerial Robots Applications
  •        Practice Basic Aerial Robot Operation (Flying) 
  •        Learn and Practice Python (Text) Coding / Programming
  •        Program Aerial Robots with Python
  •        Define Aritificial Intelligence (A.I.)
  •        Identify Computer Vision A.I. as well as its Applications
  •        Perform A.I., Computer Vision, Image Processing
  •        Perform A.I. Machine Learning
  •        Program Drone Swarms
  •        Complete Aerial Robot Activities and Exercises (Remote and Autonomous)

Pre-Requisites:

No coding experience required. Some prior experience in text-coding would be helpful. e.g. (Pascal, Python, C++, etc.)

  2.      Processor: Intel Core i7 / AMD Ryzen 7 or higher
  3.      Graphics Processor: Integrated or higher
  4.      RAM: 8.00 GB or higher
  5.      Camera: Yes
  6.      WiFi Capability: Yes
  7.      Bluetooth Capability: Yes
  8.      USB 2.0 or higher (x2)
  9.      Storage: 320GB or higher
